Letham Community Sports Club

 

Letham Coaches (sponsored by Scottish Co-op Community Fun) Can you spare a couple of hours a week to help with coaching a football team; or could you see yourself running a team of your own? In return for an hour or two of your time each week Letham will invest in developing you to coach to the highest accredited standards. Letham Amateurs )     sponsored by Trev’s House of Tattoos, Saints Social Club, Alexis Rose, Howdens Joinery, BVG Joinery, DRC Contracts, Sidey) Last week Letham faced Coupar Angus in the league and came away winning 4-1 after Coupar Angus went 1-0 up. This week away to Fairfield in the Perth and District Cup with a 2pm kick off.

Letham 1995 )      sponsored by Perthshire Flooring) After a couple of free weeks the 95’s will be looking forward to a game this week. They will be away to Moncrieff Arms on Sunday.

Letham U19 Sky Blues   (sponsored by Montana Restoration) Another free week for the Sky Blues last week will then lead into the DDYFA’s Easter Break this week. Dave will be looking to keep the boys match fit with some additional training or friendlies.

Letham U16 Tangerine 1999 )     sponsored by John Gillespie, Hairdresser, St. John Street) In a reversal of fortunes the Tangies lost 3-2 to Crieff last week, having beaten them 6-4 the week before! This week the PKYFA have called an Easter Break so no game this week.

Letham U15 Tangerine 2000  )sponsored by Graham & Sibbald/ Drainco (Scotland) Ltd)    The U15’s battled right to the end in last week’s game and came away winners 3-2 against Bankfoot. A well deserved Easter Break for the lads this week.

Letham Tangerine U14 2001    (sponsored by New Today, Furniture Centre, Canal Street) Fairmuir came to Seven Acres last week and with the Tangies leading right till the 89th minute the teams ended up sharing the points. This week no game due to the Easter Break.

Letham Tangerine 2002    (sponsored by McDonald’s, RGW Play Area Maint. Ltd., D Peebles, Electrical Contractor) Last week’s game gainst Crieff saw the Tangies lose 4-1. A midweek fixture on Wednesday, against Jeanfield Swifts Blacks, saw the tangies lose out 2-0. This week is a free week for the boys for Easter.

Letham Sky Blue 2002  (sponsored by MKM Building Merchants) Last week’s the Sky Blues had a free week and had a midweek game against Jeanfield Swifts Reds followed by the Easter break this weekend.

Letham Tangerine 2003  (sponsored by Vending Services Ltd,) The Tangies travelled to face Bridge of Earn last week. This weeks fixture was moved to be played on Wednesday night. Coaching as normal tonight from 6.00p.m.

Letham White 2003  (sponsored by China, China, St. Leonards Bridge) A close and enjoyable game away to Crieff last week. No game this week. Coaching each Wednesday at 6.00p.m.

Letham Tangerine 2004     s)ponsored by Carpet Discount Store, Friarton, Perth) A free week last week will leave the Tangies well rested for their travels to Crieff this week. Coaching sessions on Tuesday evenings from 6.00p.m.

Letham Sky Blue 2004 (sponsored by John Tainsh, Convenience Store,) The Sky Blues faced Pitfour last before travelling on to the Scotland Vs Gibraltar game. This week away to Scone on Saturday morning. Coaching sessions on Wednesday evenings from 6.00p.m.             

Letham 2004 Whites   (sponsored by Tower Veterinary Centre) Last week the Whites had a game with Bridge of Earn at Seven Acres. This week they will be away to face Jeanfield Blacks. Coaching sessions on Tuesday evening from 6.00p.m.

Letham 2005 Tangerinesponsored by Manzil Restaurant) Last week the Tangies played their club mates the 2005 Whites in what was a good game all round.  Away to Breadalbane this week. Coaching sessions on Thursday evenings from 6.00p.m.

Letham 2005 White  )  sponsored by Scott McRae, Joiner & Contractor) Last week the Whites faced their club mates the Tangies in what was a good close game. No game this week. Coaching on Wednesday evening from 5.00p.m.

Letham 2005 Sky Blues this new team will train from 6pm -7pm on Thursday and will be starting their games after Easter. Anyone Interested in sponsoring the team should contact secretary@lethamfc.com or 07783809049

Letham 2006 Tangerine (sponsored by Anonymous Donor raising awareness for Perth Autism Support) With registration of this team now complete the first game will be this weekend on the 3G at Seven Acres on Sunday at 9am against Bridge of Earn. Training Friday at 7pm.

Letham 2006 Sky Blue (sponsored by McDonald’s) With registration being completed this week the Sky Blues will kick off their games after Easter. Training on Friday at 7pm.

Letham Girls U17 s (sponsored by Alex O’Brien, Contractor. Kilmac Group, Kelly Communications) The Tangies travelled to face Muiriston Utd last week. Free week this week. Training will be on Monday and Thursday nights 5.45-7pm.

Letham Girls U15 (sponsored by MP & H McDonald, Plumbing & Heating) The U15’s travelled to face Raith Rovers in the league cup last week. Free week this week. Training Monday and Thursday nights 5.45-7.

Letham Girls U13 (sponsored by Aviva) The U13 were away to Bayside last week. This week they are away to face Real Fife. Training on Thursday night 5.45-7.pm

Letham Girls U13 Tangies Juniors The Tangies Juniors were at home to DUSC last week. This week they are at home to Kinross Colts on the 3G at Seven Acres kick off is 10.15am. Training Monday night 5.45-7pm.

Letham Girls U11 White   (sponsored by Nawaabs Restaurant) The U11’s took part in a very successful festival in Dundee last week. This week away to Bayside Blaze. Training on Monday night 5.45-7mp

Letham Tot’s Soccer School (sponsored by Struan Motors, Crieff Road) The soccer school for boys and girls in primaries one, two and three continues at 9.00a.m. on the all-weather 3G pitch at Seven Acres every Saturday. Cost is £2. Please wear boots and shin guards and bring a drink.  If arriving by car please use car park via Balgowan Road entrance. No need to pre-book.

Pay to Play Letham in conjunction with Active Schools offer school kids in primaries four to seven an opportunity every Tuesday from 3.30 till 5.00 p.m. to play football on their new state of the art all-weather pitch at Seven Acres Park, Newhouse Road, Letham for a £1. with qualified football coaches. Best to wear boots and wear warm clothing. No need to pre-book.

Walking Football Letham in conjunction with Live Active invite women and men to play walking football has recommenced on Friday’s between 11.15 am and 12.15 p.m. at the Letham Centre, Tweedsmuir Road, Letham. More information from Bill Ellis on 07957864289
