Letham Community Sports Club

Letham Coaches (sponsored by Scottish Co-op Community Fund)   There will be a 1.1 Early Touches course running on 30th March @ Seven Acres by the SFA so now is a great time to get started on coaching with Letham!

Letham Amateurs (sponsored by Trev’s House of Tattoos, Saints Social Club, Alexis Rose, Howdens Joinery, DRC Contracts, Sidey, BVG Joinery) Letham kept yet another cup campaign alive on Saturday when they beat St John’s 3-1 in the opening fixture of the Perth & District Cup. This week continues cup duties with a trip to face Vale of Earn in the Ashleigh Cup.

Letham 1995 (sponsored by Perthshire Flooring) A free week last week and the prospect of another this week see’s the 95’s hoping to arrange a friendly this week. Dougie will advise details as they are arranged. Keep an eye on Facebook for developments

Letham U19 Sky Blue (sponsored by Montana Restoration) With Tayport unable to field a team last week the Sky Blues had another free week. With another free week scheduled this week it seems the U19’s will also be on the lookout for a friendly.

Letham U16 Tangerine 1999 (sponsored by John Gillespie, Hairdresser, St. John Street) The 99;s had a well earned rest last week. This Sunday they will face Crieff at home on the 3G Pitch with a 12.30 Kick Off.

Letham U15 Tangerine 2000 (sponsored by Graham & Sibbald/ Drainco (Scotland) Ltd) The U15’s had a good game against Luncarty last Sunday. This week they will be away to Tay Thistle, with a 12.30pm kick off, and will be looking to reverse the result from two weeks ago.

Letham Tangerine U14 2001 (sponsored by New Today, Furniture Centre, Canal Street) The U14’s continued their winning ways last week when they beat Pitfour 3-1. This week they travel to take on Ferry and will be hoping to keep this run going.

Letham Tangerine 2002 (sponsored by McDonald’s, RGW Play Area Maint. Ltd., D Peebles, Electrical Contractor) Last week’s 2002 Letham Derby was end to end stuff which really showed off the quality present in these two Letham teams. After drawing level the Tangies lost bragging rights to their Sky Blue clubmates after a late goal made it 2-1. This week the Tangies will travel to face Pitfour at 12.30 on Sunday.

Letham Sky Blue 2002 (sponsored by MKM Building Merchants) For the second time this season the Sky Blues faced off with their clubmates the 2002 Tangies and again came away victorious, winning 2-1. The Sky Blues went ahead, only for the Tangies to equalise; both sides really dug in looking for the winner and the Sky Blues were rewarded. This week the Sky Blues will travel to Blairgowrie with a view to keeping their winning ways alive.

Letham Tangerine 2003 (sponsored by Vending Services Ltd,) Following a free week the Tangies will be playing the Letham 2003 Whites on the 3G pitch at 9am on Sunday. Coaching as normal tonight from 6.00p.m.

Letham White 2003 (sponsored by China, China, St. Leonards Bridge) Close and entertaining game last week away to Breadalbane, home this week to 2003 Tangerines at 9am on the 3G Pitch. Coaching each Wednesday at 6.00p.m.

Letham Tangerine 2004 (sponsored by Carpet Discount Store, Friarton, Perth) A very entertaining and end to end game last week against Scone Blacks. This week at home to the Letham 2004 Whites. Coaching sessions on Tuesday evenings from 6.00p.m.

Letham Sky Blue 2004 (sponsored by John Tainsh, Convenience Store,) A challenging but rewarding game against Crieff last week. This week a free week for the boys. Coaching sessions on Wednesday evenings from 6.00p.m.             

Letham 2004 White (sponsored by Tower Veterinary Centre) A very gutsy performance from the boys last week, showing some real Letham spirit. This week playing the 2004 Tangies on the 3G pitch at 9am. Coaching sessions on Tuesday evening from 6.00p.m.

Letham 2005 Tangerine (sponsored by Manzil Restaurant) A free week last week saw the boys away on a team trip. This Sunday at home to Crieff kicking off at 9.30am. Coaching sessions on Thursday evenings from 6.00p.m.

Letham 2005 White (sponsored by Scott McRae, Joiner & Contractor) Good game against Jeanfield last week, free week this week training as usual on Wednesday. Coaching on Wednesday evening from 5.00p.m.

Letham 2005 Sky Blues – this new team will train from 6pm -7pm this Thursday and will be starting their games soon. Anyone Interested in sponsoring the team should contact secretary@lethamfc.com or 07783809049

Letham 2006 Tangerine (sponsored by Anonymous Donor) Arrangements are well advanced in preparation for the start of their season. Training Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 9.00am

Letham 2006 Sky Blue (sponsored by McDonald’s) This team are gelling together well and preparations for starting games is almost complete. Training on Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 9am

Letham Girls U17 s (sponsored by Alex O’Brien, Contractor. Kilmac Group, Kelly Communications) The Tangies were defeated in a numbers game by Hibernian on Sunday but the girls never once stopped challenging and putting in full effort– these girls show real promise. They have very much earned their free week this week. Training will be on Monday 5.45 – 7pm and Thursday nights 6.45-8pm.

Letham Girls U15 (sponsored by MP & H McDonald, Plumbing & Heating) The U15’s had a free week last week. This week they are at home to Dryburgh on Saturday and will kick off at 11.30am. Training Monday and Thursday nights 5.45-7.

Letham Girls U13 (sponsored by Aviva) Last week the girls had a free week. This week they will face Bayside at 10.15am on Saturday on the 3G pitch. Training on Thursday night 5.45-7.pm

Letham Girls U13 Tangies Juniors The Tangies Juniors had a free week to rest last week. This week they will make the journey to face Bayside on Saturday. Training Monday night 5.45-7pm.

Letham Girls U11 White (sponsored by Nawaabs Restaurant) The U11’s had a free week last week which they will be hoping has them rested well to face Jeanfield Swifts this Saturday at home on the 3G Pitch at 10.15. Training on Monday night 5.45-7.   

Letham Girls U9 are training hard and looking forward to entering their own festivals in the near future. They train on a Monday night 5.45-7pm

Letham Tot’s Soccer School (sponsored by Struan Motors, Crieff Road) The soccer school for boys and girls in primaries one, two and three continues at 9.00a.m. on the all-weather 3G pitch at Seven Acres every Saturday. Cost is £2. Please wear boots and shin guards and bring a drink.  If arriving by car please use car park via Balgowan Road entrance. No need to pre-book.

Pay to Play Letham in conjunction with Active Schools offer school kids in primaries four to seven an opportunity every Tuesday from 3.30 till 5.00 p.m. to play football on their new state of the art all-weather pitch at Seven Acres Park, Newhouse Road, Letham for a £1. with qualified football coaches. Best to wear boots and wear warm clothing. No need to pre-book.

Walking Football Letham in conjunction with Live Active invite women and men to play walking football has recommenced on Friday’s between 11.15 am and 12.15 p.m. at the Letham Centre, Tweedsmuir Road, Letham. More information from Bill Ellis on 07957864289
