Amateurs Retain Kinross Tournament Trophy
The Amateurs are off and running for the new season and took part in the annual tournament at Kinross where they retained the trophy, with the following results :- LETHAM 2 Fossoway 0 LETHAM 3 Braehead Stirling 0 LETHAM 2 Kinross 0 So they progressed to the final with number 2 team Fossoway. Fossoway scored the first goal with the Tangies conceding due to the defence being caught in possession. however the fought back after the interval and deservedly equalised. Missed more chances and the game ended in a statelmate. The penalty shoot out went as follows:- Fossoway 1-0 1-1, 2-1, 2-2, 3-2, 3-3, x-X, x-1 so won 3-4 Well done to the team, particulary as it was extremely hot.
