Letham Community Sports Club
Letham Amateurs (sponsored by Trev’s House of Tattoos, Saints Social Club, Barossa Street. DRC Contracts, Sidey) When Dundee City took a two goal lead in the North of Tay Cup things looked ominous for the Tangerines. They reduced the deficit by one before the interval. After the break the Tangerines started to play a bit and scored four goals without reply and deservedly look forward to the draw for the next round. Scorers were McIntosh (3), Ferrie and Smart. On Saturday they have a difficult away league game against Craigie.
Letham 1995 (sponsored by Perthshire Flooring) To lose a player in the first fifteen minutes for a misdemeanour puts pressure on the remaining players and so it was against Christies last Sunday losing by ten goals to four. On Sunday home to The Vic.
Letham U19 Sky Blue (sponsored by Montana Restoration) The team is hoping to get back on track after recent set-backs. On Sunday they are away to Tayport for a league match. Dave will advise travel arrangements.
Letham U16 Tangerine 1999 (sponsored by John Gillespie, Hairdresser, St.John Street) On Sunday the Tangerines have a home Scottish Cup match against Greystone Athletic from Dumfries. Game kicks off at 1.00 p.m.
Letham U16 White 1999 (sponsored by Alex O’Brien, Contractor. Kilmac Group, Kelly Communications) No game this weekend due to holiday break.
Letham U15 Tangerine 2000 (sponsored by Graham & Sibbald/ Drainco (Scotland) Ltd) No game this weekend due to holiday break.
Letham Tangerine U14 2001 (sponsored by New Today, Furniture Centre, Canal Street) On Sunday the team is away to Kirrie for a league game. Game kicks off at noon.
Letham Tangerine 2002 (sponsored by McDonald’s, RGW Play Area Maint. Ltd., D Peebles, Electrical Contractor) On Sunday the team welcome Prestwick Community F.C. to Seven Acres for a Scottish Cup match. Game kicks off at 11.00a.m.
Letham Sky Blue 2002 (sponsored by MKM Building Merchants) No game this weekend due to holiday break.
Letham Tangerine 2003 (sponsored by Vending Services Ltd,) After the autumn break the team are back in action on Sunday with a home game against Bridge of Earn.
Letham White 2003 (sponsored by China, China, St. Leonards Bridge) On Sunday the team are away to Breadalbane. Dave will advise travel arrangements.
Letham Tangerine 2004 (sponsored by Carpet Discount Store, Friarton, Perth) Interesting derby this Sunday when the Tangies are “away” to the Sky Blues. Game kicks off at 9.30 a.m. on the all-weather pitch.
Letham 2004 White (sponsored by Tower Veterinary Centre) Please note The Whites are away to Scone on Saturday with a 10.00a.m. start at the Glebe School instead of the usual Sunday. Travel arrangements will be advised.
Letham Sky Blue 2004 (sponsored by John Tainsh, Convenience Store) A great game in prospect this Sunday when the team lines up against the Tangies.
Letham 2005 Tangerine (sponsored by Manzil Restaurant) After the short break fixtures resume this Sunday with an away game at Bridge of Earn. Keith will advise timings etc.
Letham 2005 White The Whites are on their travels this weekend with an away game against Breadalbane. Rhona will advise arrangements.
Letham Girls U15 (sponsored by MP & H McDonald, Plumbing & Heating) With no game last week the girls look forward to playing Monifieth at Seven Acres on Saturdaywith a 10.30 a.m. kick off.
Letham Girls U13 (sponsored by Aviva) The girls found it hard going against a very good Jeanfield team although there were plenty of positives from this very young side. On Saturday they are away to Bayside.
Letham Girls U11 Tangerine (sponsored by R.A.S.C. R.C.T. Association) The scheduled game against Scone was not played last week. On Saturday they are in Dundee for a football festival.
Letham Girls U11 White The team away to Lomond Colts last weekend came home with a share of the points. They too are in Dundee for a festival on Saturday

Car Park - User of the all-weather pitch are requested to use the car park that can be accessed via Balgown Road
Letham Tot’s Soccer School (sponsored by Struan Motors, Crieff Road) The soccer school for boys and girls in primaries one, two and three continues at the new time of 9.00a.m. on the new all-weather pitch at Seven Acres. Cost is £2. Please wear boots and shin guards and bring a drink. If arriving by car please use car park via Balgowan Road entrance.
Letham Coaches (sponsored by Scottish Co-op Community Fund) Would like to hear from volunteers willing to give up some of their spare time and become a coach to one of our younger teams. Table Top Sale
The Community section of the club are to hold a Table Top sale in the club’s Pavilion, Newhouse Road tomorrow Saturday 25th, October starting at 9.00a.m. Items on sale have been kindly donated by Glendoick Garden Centre. Items especially suited for stocking fillers at Christmas. Also in attendance will be the Blue Van Fresh Fast Food.
2003 Tangerines Fund Raising Event
Want something to do on Sat 01 November? Then come along to Letham 2003 Tangerines fundraiser at the 208 Hotel, Crieff Road, Perth from 7.30 till late. The night will consist of disco, karaoke and other events throughout the night. Tickets are £5 which will also include a buffet.
