Letham Community Sports Club

Letham Amateurs (sponsored by Saints Social Club, Barossa Street. DRC Contracts, Sidey, Trev’s House of Tattoos)     The team went joint top of the league after a narrow four goals to three victory over a spirited Auchterarder Primrose.  This Saturday brings about another difficult match at Blairgowrie where they face Balmoral United.

Letham 1995 (sponsored by Perthshire Flooring) No game last week. On Sunday they are at home to Dunbarney Rovers.

Letham U19 Sky Blue (sponsored by Montana Restoration,)     No game last week. On Sunday Ferry are the visitors to Seven Acres for a league match.

Letham U16 Tangerine  1999 (sponsored by John Gillespie, Hairdresser, St.John Street)     Whilst having most of the play against Stanley Socca the Tangies had to settle for a share of the points due to the visitors equalising in the final stages. On Sunday they travel to play Kirkcaldy YM Colts in the second round of the Scottish Cup. Thomas will advise arrangements.

Letham U16 White 1999 (sponsored by Alex O’Brien, Contractor. Kilmac Group, Kelly Communications)  Despite losing by two goals to nil at Jeanfield last week the team had lots of positives in the overall play. No game this weekend.

Letham U15 Tangerine 2000 (sponsored by Graham & Sibbald/ Drainco (Scotland) Ltd) The team lost to Tay Thistle. Despite the setback the rebuilding of the team progresses. On Sunday they are at home to Bankfoot.

 Letham Tangerine U14 2001 (sponsored by New Today, Furniture Centre, Canal Street)        Aspirations for the season were dented last Sunday in Dundee when Fairmuir heavily defeated the Tangies. On Sunday in the Scottish Cup they have the renowned Blue Brazil as visitors to Seven Acres.

Letham Tangerine 2002 (sponsored by McDonald’s, RGW Play Area Maint. Ltd., D Peebles, Electrical Contractor) Last Sunday at Seven Acres the Tangies defeated Scone by five goals to three in what turned out to be an entertaining game. On Sunday they are in Dundee for a second round Scottish Cup tie against Logie Harp.

Letham Sky Blue 2002 (sponsored by Johnston Carmichael, Tay Street)   The team secured a fine seven goals to one victory over Crieff. On Sunday at home to Blairgowrie on the all-weather pitch.  .

Letham Tangerine 2003 (sponsored by Vending Services Ltd,)   The derby game against the Whites was again an exciting affair with the Tangies claiming bragging rights. This Sunday at home to Errol.

Letham White 2003 (sponsored by China, China, St. Leonards Bridge)  The derby game against the Tangies was not as close as usual. On Sunday away to Jeanfield. Dave will advise arrangements.

Letham Tangerine 2004 (sponsored by Carpet Discount Store, Friarton, Perth) The team had to settle for honours even last week due to a very spirited late response from Breadalbane. On Sunday at home to Bridge of Earn.

Letham 2004 White (sponsored by Tower Veterinary Centre) This new team found it hard going against a very good Crieff team. This Sunday away to Breadalbane.

Letham Sky Blue 2004 (sponsored by John Tainsh, Convenience Store,)   The team were brought back to earth last week against Jeanfield. Pitfour are the visiting team this Sunday.       

Letham 2005 Tangerine  (sponsored by Manzil Resaurant)    A very enjoyable derby game against the Whites last weekend. On Sunday away to Blairgowrie.

Letham 2005 White Great close derby game against the Tangies last Sunday. No game this weekend.

Letham Girls U15 (sponsored by MP & H McDonald, Plumbing & Heating)   A bigger and stronger East fife team were convincing winners last Saturday. This Saturday they entertain Forfar Blue.      

Letham Girls U13 (sponsored by Aviva)  The team lost by the odd goal in seven at home to DUSC. Pity they were unable to maintain their first half performance. Away to East Fife on Saturday.

Letham Girls U11 Tangerine (sponsored by R.A.S.C. R.C.T. Association)  The Tangies had a successful trip at East Fife last week. On Saturday there is a possibility of a friendly game. Details will be advised

Letham Girls U11 White This very young side found it hard going at home to Bayside last week. Arrangements for Saturday will be advised.

Letham Girls U9      We are pleased to announce that we have formed a new team and welcome girls interested in playing football to attend our training sessions on Monday evenings from 6.00p.m. at Seven Acres. Ask for Fiona

Women’s Fun Football Fitness Class

Dugout café      Due to the ill health of Billy the café can no longer offer hot food and drinks. Due to demand we have installed confectionary and cold drink machines in the classroom and are operational now.

Letham Tot’s Soccer School (sponsored by Struan Motors, Crieff Road)    The soccer school for boys and girls in primaries one, two and three continues at the new time of 9.00a.m. on the new all-weather pitch at Seven Acres. Cost is £2. Please wear boots and shin guards and bring a drink.   

Letham Coaches (sponsored by Scottish Co-op Community Fund)      Would like to hear from volunteers willing to give up some of their spare time and become a coach to one of our younger teams.
