Letham Community Sports Club

Letham Amateurs (sponsored by Saints Social Club, Barossa Street. Tower Ridge Adventure Clothing. DRC Contracts, Sidey) Playing their first competitive match on the all-weather pitch the Tangerines secured a three goals to nil victory over Alyth. On Saturday Auchterarder visit Seven Acres. Meet clubhouse at 12.45 p.m.

Letham 1995 (sponsored by Perthshire Flooring) In yet another high scoring game the team secured all three points against Auld Hoose thanks to a win by five goals to four. No game this weekend.

Letham U19 Sky Blue (sponsored by Montana Restoration,) The team did well at Forfar last weekend winning by five goals to three against the local Albion. No game this weekend.

Letham U16 Tangerine 1999 (sponsored by John Gillespie, Hairdresser, St.John Street) The local derby was a one sided affair against a weakened White team. On Sunday Stanley Socca are the visiting team for a league match.

Letham U16 White 1999 (sponsored by Alex O’Brien, Contractor. Kilmac Group, Kelly Communications) In the derby game against the Tangerines the team started well. Alas the fast running opponents were causing the defence difficulties and together with injuries to two players made it a difficult afternoon. On Sunday away to Jeanfield Swifts.

Letham U15 Tangerine 2000 (sponsored by Graham & Sibbald/ Drainco (Scotland) Ltd) On Sunday the team are at home to Tay Thistle Game kicks off at 10.30am at Methven.

Letham Tangerine U14 2001 (sponsored by New Today, Furniture Centre, Canal Street) Last weekend the supporters were treated to an excellent match between the Tangies and St Andrews Colts on the all-weather pitch. This resulted in a two goals to nil win for the Letham side. On Sunday in Dundee they face strong opposition from Fairmuir.

Letham Tangerine 2002 (sponsored by McDonald’s, RGW Play Area Maint. Ltd., D Peebles, Electrical Contractor) At Blairgowrie last weekend the Tangies secured a well-deserved four goals to one victory. On Sunday they entertain Scone on the all-weather pitch.

Letham Sky Blue 2002 (sponsored by Johnston Carmichael, Tay Street) The team were too good for plucky Pitfour last week. This Sunday they are at home to Crieff. .

Letham Tangerine 2003 (sponsored by Vending Services Ltd,) The team entertained Breadalbane at Seven Acres last week and in an end to end game the Tangies just shaded the honours. On Sunday they face their club mates in the Whites. Please note very early kick off.

Letham White 2003 (sponsored by China, China, St. Leonards Bridge) The game against Blairgowrie was postponed. On Sunday it is derby day against the Tangies. Dave will confirm arrangements.

Letham Tangerine 2004 (sponsored by Carpet Discount Store, Friarton, Perth) The team just dipped out at Crieff last weekend. This Sunday they are on their travels again at Breadalbane.

Letham 2004 White (sponsored by Tower Veterinary Centre) This new team found it hard going at Jeanfield last week. This Sunday they are at home to Crieff.

Letham Sky Blue 2004 (sponsored by John Tainsh, Convenience Store,) The game at Scone was postponed. This Sunday Jeanfield are the visiting team.

Letham 2005 Tangerine (sponsored by Manzil Restaurant) A very promising start last week at home to Scone Reds but were unable to maintain the form. On Sunday derby game against the Whites. Note this game kicks off at 9.00a.m.

Letham 2005 Whites. The boys enjoyed their first game on the new 3g pitch against Bridge of Earn. On Sunday they “visit” the Tangerines. Rhona to confirm arrangements.

Letham Girls U15 (sponsored by MP & H McDonald, Plumbing & Heating) Against Tayside Colts last week the Tangerines drew the match at three goals apiece. On Saturday East Fife are the visitors. Game kicks off at 11.15 a.m. on the all-weather pitch.

Letham Girls U13 (sponsored by Aviva) The team lost out at Real Fife last week. Saturday they play host to DUSC from Dundee.Game kicks off at 10.00am

Letham Girls U11 Tangerine (sponsored by R.A.S.C. R.C.T. Association) The game against Glenrothes was postponed. On Saturday they are away to East Fife Gold.

Letham Girls U11 White The club’s newest team are at home on Saturday against Bayside Blaze. Note kick off earlier than normal.

Letham Girls U9 We are pleased to announce that we have formed a new team and welcome girls interested in playing football to attend our training sessions on Monday evenings from 6.00p.m. at Seven Acres. Ask for Fiona

Letham Tot’s Soccer School (sponsored by Struan Motors, Crieff Road) The soccer school for boys and girls in primaries one, two and three continues at the new time of 9.00a.m. on the new all-weather pitch at Seven Acres. Cost is £2. Please wear boots and shin guards and bring a drink.

Letham Coaches (sponsored by Scottish Co-op Community Fund) Would like to hear from volunteers willing to give up some of their spare time and become a coach to one of our younger teams. All-weather pitch

The club is delighted to announce that the all-weather pitch is now open. This state of the art facility has been well received. A booking system is now live and is available on line through the club’s web site. www.lethamfc.co.uk A new car park is now available via Balgowan Road.
