On Tuesday night at Davie Park, Blairgowrie they contested the Ashleigh Cup against local side Balmoral United. Playing their forty fifth game of the season the Tangies retained the coveted trophy by winning by four goals to two. In a truly remarkable season they lost out on three only games viz;- Scottish Cup fourth round, North of Tay Cup in the semi-final and the Perthshire Cup. Letham U14 Tangerine 2000 (sponsored by Graham & Sibbald/ Drainco (Scotland) Ltd)  The final league game of the season was on Wednesday when they played league champions Tay Thistle. On Tuesday night at home to Breadalbane and in front of a big support the team clinched the League championship by defeating the visitors by thirteen goals to nil and thus brought to a close a very successful season that was a credit to all who watched them.
