Letham Amateurs (sponsored by Saints Social Club, Barossa Street. Tower Ridge Adventure Clothing. DRC Contracts) With no game last weekend the team look forward to visiting the Lang Toun to play the local Primrose in a quarter final tie for the Ashleigh Cup. Will supporters wishing to travel on the team bus to the semi-final of the North of Tay Cup on Tuesday 22nd April please contact Bob Deuchar on 07746326399 to book a seat. The tie will be played at Glenesk Park, Dundee. Letham 1995 (sponsored by A & S Properties, County Place) The unbeaten streak ended last week at Dunbarney when they narrowly lost by the odd goal in seven. On Sunday away to Inter Perth. Letham U17 Sky Blue (sponsored by Montana Restoration,) A friendly has been arranged this weekend with Kirriemuir providing the opposition. Letham U15 Tangerine (sponsored by John Gillespie, Hairdresser, St.John Street) The quarter final tie at Newtyle against Kettins ended in disappointment as the team went down in controversial fashion by three goals to two. All credit to the home side who had the never say die spirit. On Sunday home to Breadalbane and Ballinluig for a league game. Venue dependant on damaged goals being repaired. Letham U15 White (sponsored by Ian Robertson, Joiner/ McCormack Dev/SSE) The quarter final tie at Crieff was a one sided affair with the home side going through to the semi-final. This Sunday Kinnoull are visitors to Seven Acres. Letham U14 Tangerine 2000 (sponsored by Graham & Sibbald/ Drainco (Scotland) Ltd) Game against Tay Thistle was postponed to a later date. This Sunday they have a league game at Methven against Blairgowrie. Letham Tangerine U13 2001 (sponsored by New Today, Furniture Centre, Canal Street) The Tangies were in top form at Meigle last weekend. On Sunday home to Luncarty at the Viewpoint. Letham Tangerine 2002 (sponsored by McDonald’s, RGW Play Area Maint. Ltd., D Peebles, Electrical Contractor) Blairgowrie is never an easy venue but the Tangies played well and finished with both sides pleased with the performances. Letham Sky Blue 2002 (sponsored by Johnston Carmichael, Tay Street) Visiting Sky Blues were too good on the day for Pitfour. This Sunday they have an away fixture against Jeanfield Black. . Letham Tangerine 2003 (sponsored by Vending Services Ltd,) The Tangies playing good attacking football pleased their supporters when they played Crieff at home last weekend. On Sunday new team Errol will be welcome visitors as they will be playing their first ever game at Seven Acres. Letham White 2003 (sponsored by China, China, St. Leonards Bridge) The team had a mixed performance at Breadalbane last Sunday. This Sunday home to Bridge of Earn. Last indoor winter training session tonight. Letham Tangerine 2004 (sponsored by Carpet Discount Store, Friarton, Perth) The team played out an evenly matched game at Scone last weekend. On Sunday home to Bridge of Earn. Training continues with Jerry on Wednesday evening at Seven Acres from 5.00p.m. Letham Girls U15 (sponsored by MP & H McDonald, Plumbing & Heating) At Montrose last Saturday the girls came away with a very creditable one each draw. No game tomorrow. Letham Girls U13 (sponsored by Aviva) In Dundee last week the team played well despite losing by four goals to two against DUSC. Home to Raith Rovers tomorrow. Meet clubhouse by 9.30 a.m. Letham Girls U11 (sponsored by R.A.S.C. R.C.T. Association) East Fife were too good for this very young team. Tomorrow in Dundee for a festival. Travel arrangements will be advised. Letham Tot’s Soccer School (sponsored by Struan Motors, Crieff Road) The Soccer School for boys and girls in primaries 1 and 2 continues tomorrow at 10.00a.m. in the Sports Hall at Perth High School. Boys and girls in primary three continues at 11.00a.m. at the same venue. Please bring a drink and wear suitable footwear for indoor. Cost is £2. Ask for Michael. Please note this is the last Saturday this will be held at the High School. Next week this Soccer School will be held outdoors at Seven Acres Park, Newhouse Road, Letham at the same times. Letham Coaches (sponsored by Scottish Co-op Community Fund) Would like to hear from volunteers willing to give up some of their spare time and become a coach to one of our younger teams. The club has no shortage of youngsters wanting to play for Letham and desperately needs additional help to meet the demand. It is hoped this will take place in the middle of April and be operational for the start of the new season. We sincerely thank all the funders that have supported us and that this facility will be a massive boost to not only the club but also the Letham Community.
