Letham Amateurs (sponsored by Saints Social Club, Barossa Street. Tower Ridge Adventure Clothing. DRC Contracts) The team were very impressive when they swept away Arbroath CSC by seven goals to nil in the quarter final tie of the North of Tay Cup. Especially as Arbroath were current holders of the trophy. Scorers were Carle (4), Donaldson, Cook and Smith. They have drawn another Dundee side St James in the semi-final. No fixture tomorrow. Letham 1995 (sponsored by A & S Properties, County Place) Last Sunday at Seven Acres the team defeated College by seven goals to nil thus extending their unbeaten run to eight games. On Sunday they are away to Dunbarney. Letham U17 Sky Blue (sponsored by Montana Restoration,) The Sky Blues gave visiting Dee Club a three goal start before they rallied and scored twice. Time ran out as they chased the equaliser. No game this weekend Letham U15 Tangerine (sponsored by John Gillespie, Hairdresser, St.John Street) With no game last week the team have a quarter final tie against Kettins Lads on Sunday. Travel details will be advised. Letham U15 White (sponsored by Ian Robertson, Joiner/ McCormack Dev/SSE) Whilst losing at Scone last weekend there were plenty of positives for the side. On Sunday they are again on their travels this time to Crieff for a quarter final cup-tie. Letham U14 Tangerine 2000 (sponsored by Graham & Sibbald/ Drainco (Scotland) Ltd) The team played very well last week at Abernethy and cruelly they lost out on the penalty shoot out to go into the final of the David Seaton Memorial Cup. On Sunday they compete in the semi-final of the Ken McRae Cup against Tay Thistle at The Bowl. Letham Tangerine U13 2001 (sponsored by New Today, Furniture Centre, Canal Street) The expected tight match against Scone last week didn’t materialise as the Tangies put in one of their best performances of the season defeating their closest rivals for the league championship by five goals to nil. On Sunday they are away to Meigle. Travel details will be advised. Letham Tangerine 2002 (sponsored by McDonald’s, RGW Play Area Maint. Ltd., D Peebles, Electrical Contractor) With coach Mike Inglis leaving the club to take up a new work position in New Zealand the boys wanted to give him a good send off. This they did with some excellent football and near the end scoring three outstanding goals. Crieff of course made an exciting game which was enjoyed by both sets of supporters. This Sunday they are away to Blairgowrie. Letham Sky Blue 2002 (sponsored by Johnston Carmichael, Tay Street) With Blairgowrie supplying the opposition the end result was a fine game of football between two good sides. The Sky Blues however just had that little bit extra having home advantage. This Sunday a trip down the Carse is required as they play Pitfour. Letham Tangerine 2003 (sponsored by Vending Services Ltd,) The Tangies were too experienced against new team at Errol last week. Home game against Crieff this Sunday with a 10.00a.m. kick off. Letham White 2003 (sponsored by China, China, St. Leonards Bridge) Supporters of the team were very pleased with the standard of play by the Whites when they played Blairgowrie. They will be hoping they continue with this form when they are away at Breadalbane Letham Tangerine 2004 (sponsored by Carpet Discount Store, Friarton, Perth) No game last weekend. This Sunday they are away to Scone. Tony will advise travel arrangements. Letham Sky Blue 2004 (sponsored by John Tainsh, Convenience Store,) On Sunday the team have a home game against Crieff. This match kicks off at 10.00a.m. Training as usual on Monday evening from 6.00p.m. at Perth High School. Letham White 2004 Training is now at Seven Acres, Newhouse Road on Monday evenings from 6.00p.m. Any problems contact team manager Jamie MacLeod on 07919401830 Letham 2005 Tangerine (sponsored by Sportsmatch,Meldrum Construction, Perthshire Glazing Co.) Playing their first ever game at Seven Acres this young side surprised their supporters with a fine display against Scone. On Sunday Keith is planning a training session at Letham. Letham 2005 White The club is very close to fielding yet another young team. Training continues with Jerry at Perth High School tomorrow and again on Wednesday evening at Seven Acres. Letham Girls U15 (sponsored by MP & H McDonald, Plumbing & Heating) The team played well against strong opposition from Forfar Wildcats and can take heart from their performance. Tomorrow they have a trip to Montrose. Please meet Seven Acres at 8.40 a.m.prompt for a car share. Letham Girls U13 (sponsored by Aviva) Dundee United tangerines were too good last Sunday for the team although they did score two well worked goals. Tomorrow they are again on their travels to Dundee this time at DUSC at Claypotts Park. Reminder to wear black training tops, socks and tangerine shorts. Meet seven acres at 9.00a.m. for a car share. Letham Girls U11 (sponsored by R.A.S.C. R.C.T. Association) The team were defeated last week at East Fife. Tomorrow East Fife Black are visitors to Seven Acres. This game kicks off at 10.30 a.m Letham Tot’s Soccer School (sponsored by Struan Motors, Crieff Road) The Soccer School for boys and girls in primaries 1 and 2 continues tomorrow at 10.00a.m. in the Sports Hall at Perth High School. Boys and girls in primary three continues at 11.00a.m. at the same venue. Please bring a drink and wear suitable footwear for indoor. Cost is £2. Ask for Michael.
