DRC Contracts) In what could have been a tricky game away to Rattray, the senior Letham team showed their class and eased through 1-9. Tomorrow it’s a huge league home game Letham (2nd) v Ballinluig (1st) in the race for the league title @ 14:00. Letham 1995 (sponsored by A & S Properties, County Place) On a lovely spring Sunday the 1995 lads had a cracking game against Taybank at home coming back to draw 2 v 2 at home and very unlucky not to take more of their chances. Next game on Sunday away to Saints Club Letham U17 Sky Blue (sponsored by Montana Restoration,) Letham 3 -0 Montrose. Team played really well; creating numerous chances requiring dedicated defending by Montrose to keep it at 3. Super performance. Next game is a tough one, and will be great test on the progress made this season, away to league leaders, Dundee Villa, on Sunday. Letham U15 Tangerine (sponsored by John Gillespie, Hairdresser, St. John Street, Perth) In the Barry Stephen Memorial Cup the game ended 3 -3. Into penalties and the boys kept their cool to win it 3-1. A great win for the boys. In a flowing end to end game both keepers were on top form and in the end the Tangies came from behind to edge it. Next game on Sunday at home against Blairgowrie at 10.00. Letham White 2003 (sponsored by China, China, St. Leonards Bridge) Great first game of the season against their fellow Letham club members 2003T. In a flowing end to end game the keepers were on top form for both sides and the Tangies came from behind to just edge it at the end. Next game at home on Sunday v Errol 11:00. Letham Tangerine 2004 (sponsored by Carpet Discount Store, Friarton, Perth) Game on Sunday away to Breadalbane Letham Sky Blue 2004 (sponsored by John Tainsh Convenience Store,) Next game has been moved to Saturday away to Scone with kick off at 11:00. Letham 2005 Tangerine (sponsored by Sportsmatch, Meldrum Construction, Perthshire Glazing Co.) The youngest Letham team kicked off their first season and had a really good run out against Jeanfield. A very competitive end to end game showed off the developing skills of both sides. Excellent goal keeping from both teams kept the game even but towards the end Jeanfield just edged it. Next game away on Sunday to Breadalbane. Letham Girls U15 (sponsored by MP & H McDonald, Plumbing & Heating) Big step up for the girls to 11-A-Side this year and season starts this weekend although their first match is postponed due to several players being unavailable tomorrow. Letham Girls U13 (sponsored by Aviva) Good run out in a friendly against Real Fife who will be one of the top teams this year. Tomorrow it’s the first game of the season at home to Real fife at 11:00 Letham Girls U11 (sponsored by R.A.S.C. R.C.T. Letham Tot’s Soccer School (sponsored by Struan Motors, Crieff Road) The Soccer School for Boys and Girls in P1 and P2 continues tomorrow at 10.00a.m. in the Sports Hall at Perth High School. Boys and Girls in P3 continues at 11.00a.m. at the same venue. No need to book; just come along for an hour of fun and exercise. Please bring a drink and wear suitable footwear for indoor.
